On 27 September 2014, My friends and i attend a wonderful festival named Matswapati. in there we can see many culture from west java and there is one show that interesting to me,that is Benjang art.
Benjang is traditional art from west java that developed in Ujungberung, Cibolerang until cinunuk. at 1918,Hj. Yayat begins to introduced Benjang in Cibiru area.
Benjang is one of traditional martial arts that have a uniqe characteristics than other. in benjang,the players must get close each other.Benjang usually plays on field or terrace house.Benjang have their technics like dengkek,ngangkat, beulit dalam,beulit luar,and beulit samping.
